How much Government do you prefer?

How much Government is enough, if any? I prefer pretty much no government. My motto is to "Govern Thy Self" I have come to a point in my life where any government is too much. I have learned that government cannot be limited no matter what safeguards are in place. Take the Constitution for example. This was and is the best government experiment ever attempted and put in place. No other document or experiment in the world was written as simple and intelligent as the U.S. Constitution, but..... has it worked? Well, some could argue that it did, but I doubt there is a valid argument today that could vouch that the U.S. Constitution is still working, because it is not, because it is not being followed. Sure, it works great when it is followed, however, it is obviously not being followed. If it were, America would not find herself in the situations she is in today. So, as simple as it may sound, I rest my case. There is no such thing as a 'permanent' limited government, and without a limited government, what we are left with is nothing more than a ever growing despotic, oppressive monster government that always evolves into some form of total government and loss of freedom.
